Bathampton CSA Dry Arch Transition BathA new Community Project on Six acres of land at the end of Holcombe Lane, near Holcombe Farm

Transition Bath are working with The Hughes family and the community to restore a six acre piece of land and bring it into production, using organic methods and creating benefit for everyone.

Our aim is to bring together the people of Bathampton and surrounding area to look at how this can be done. Whether you would like to grow your own food, meet more local people or be involved in a project that will reduce food bills and miles, there is an opportunity for everyone.

The initial meeting took place on 15 August 2010 and the project has now developed into a fully-fledged scheme with a lease on the land for 5 years.  The scheme is now called Dry Arch.
